Nikon’s Android Camera : Coolpix S800c

Nikon has officially unveiled its first Android based camera that is called Coolpix S800c, and which makes its debut in September 2012, initially with the American market.

The cameras main components include a 25-250mm, wide-angle Zoom NIKKOR lens, 16MP Backside Illuminated (BSI) CMOS sensor, and an EXPEED C2 processing engine.

Android on board gives the camera direct access to Twitter, Facebook, and Google Play through Wi-Fi interface. The camera’s monitor is a 3.5-inch touchscreen OLED screen with WVGA resolution.

The WiFi functionality allows the user to download all thinkable apps via Google Play. Whether you want to download a photo app, a social media app, or a game. The possibilities with this Nikon Android camera are truly unlimited.

The Nikon Coolpix S800c is characterized by its ease of use, partly created by the OLED touchscreen of the Nikon Coolpix S800c, which is just as sensitive as that of the best smartphones.

The Nikon S800c Android camera has been equipped with automatic vibration reduction technology and corrects sudden movements, ensuring the user will capture sharp photos over and over again.

There is also a separate mode available for backlit situations, there is a Best Shot Selector, as well as a continuous shooting mode and a panorama function. In addition to creating vivid pictures, the Nikon Coolpix S800c is able to record Full HD 1080p videos with stereo sound.
